Health Measures and Information

Your health and the health of our staff is particularly important to us, which is why we have changed our methodology and adapted our environment. Luckily, we are fortunate to work in a wide open-air space that facilitates physical distancing. This document is a comprehensive guide concerning the sanitary measures that we have implemented to allow you to visit our attractions safely!

If you’re experiencing flu-like or gastroenteritis symptoms that are similar to those of COVID-19 such as coughing, difficulty breathing and/or sudden loss of smell or taste, etc.

Stay home and contact us to change or cancel your reservation.

If you do not have any symptoms at the time of your reservation, but develop symptoms before your visit, please notify us immediately.

Your cooperation is essential to the success of our activities this summer, which is why we ask for your patience and respect.

** Wearing a mask is still mandatory in close environment, therfore at Ura multimedia activity, in the sanitary  facilities as well as in our various reception buildings. **

The course

  • We will accept a maximum of 56 people every 15 minutes;
  • Please arrive at the time indicated on your ticket (at most 5 minutes in advance);
  • Please observe the instructions pertaining to physical distancing (2 m) at the visitor reception area and all along the course;
  • Hiking sticks and flashlights will be disinfected upon your return;
  • We will rotate our reserves of walking sticks, so they are used only once per night;
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers will be available at various locations throughout your visit;
  • All staff members will wear visors.

Ticket office

  • The ticket office is now located at 75 chemin de la Plage Pabos Mills;
  • We recommend that you book and pay online through our website;
  • Staff members will serve you through a window and will wear visors;
  • The payment terminal will be disinfected between each transaction;
  • There will be limited access to the boutique; for more details, see the boutique section.

Sanitary (toilets and showers)

  • Please respect the measures indicated on site;
  • Please disinfect your hands before entering;
  • Wearing a mask is compulsory inside;
  • Please wash your hands before leaving.

The course

  • Please arrive at the time indicated on your ticket (at most 5 minutes in advance);
  • Please observe the instructions pertaining to physical distancing (2 m) at the visitor reception area and all along the course;
  • Please disinfect your hands upon arrival;
  • All modules, headsets and flashlights will be disinfected upon your return;
  • We will rotate the equipment (modules, headphones and flashlights) so that they are used only once per night;
  • A guide will conduct regular runs through the course to disinfect door handles, activation buttons and panels;
  • We would ask you to press the activation buttons with your elbow whenever possible;
  • At the end of each performance, the huts will be aired out with high-performance fans, it is important to wait until the end of the cycle before entering;
  • All staff members will wear protective visors;
  • Wearing a mask is compulsory.

Ticket office

  • We recommend that you book and pay online through our website;
  • Staff members will serve you through a window and will wear visors;
  • The payment terminal will be disinfected between each transaction;

Visitor reception

  • We recommend that you make your reservation online through our website as our phone lines are usually very busy;
  • A maximum of 3 people at a time will be allowed inside;
  • One customer per family, except for parents accompanied by their child(ren);
  • Please disinfect your hands before entering and upon leaving;
  • Please follow the traffic flow pattern indicated (one door for entry and the other door for exiting);
  • Please observe instructions pertaining to physical distancing (2 m) before entering and once inside the building;
  • Please avoid touching items you do not wish to purchase;
  • Surfaces will be disinfected regularly;
  • The payment terminal will be disinfected after each transaction;
  • Documents will be available so that you can access them without assistance;
  • Staff members will serve you through a plexiglass window and will wear a mask;
  • Wearing a mask is compulsory inside;

Your stay

  • Please observe basic public health guidelines: cough or sneeze into your elbow, wash your hands frequently, maintain physical distancing (2 m), etc.;
  • Only individuals from the same family unit (living at the same address) may stay in the same trailer or tent;
  • Please observe public health guidelines regarding gatherings;
  • Playgrounds and water games will be open for the St-Jean Baptiste weekend;
  • There are no equipment loans available at the moment;
  • Please dispose of your tissues and other waste in the appropriate areas.

Sanitary facilities

  • Lights will be left on at all times;
  • Washroom facilities will be accessible only to campers with no toilet facilities;
  • Wearing a mask is compulsory inside;
  • Please comply with the rules concerning the number of campers allowed, at a time, in the different washroom facilities;
  • Please wait your turn outside while maintaining physical distancing (2 m);
  • A disinfectant dispenser will be made available to visitors, who are required to disinfect their hands before entering;
  • Please wash hands thoroughly, as recommended by the public health department;
  • Cleaning rounds will be conducted frequently;
  • Guests will not be allowed in the facilities during the cleaning rounds;
  • We will prioritize the use of contactless garbage cans.

Ready-to-camp

  • Please observe basic public health guidelines: cough or sneeze into your elbow, wash your hands frequently, maintain physical distancing (2 m), etc.;
  • Only individuals from the same family unit (living at the same address) may stay in the same trailer or tent;
  • A cleaning supply kit will be made available to you;
  • Bring your own bedding;

Great Hall

  • The Great Hall will be closed until further notice from the public health department.

The fisherman’s cabin will be closed for the summer of 2021, but we will still provide cultural interpretation for it during the guided tour. In addition, we will not be showing the virtual reality film “La cabane à P-A”.

Listening modules with telephone handsets will be deactivated.

Tours

  • Upon arrival, visitors will present their ticket to the guide and receive an identification sticker;
  • Visitors will then be directed to a waiting area that allows for physical distancing (2 m);
  • Please arrive at the time indicated on your ticket (at most 5 minutes in advance);
  • Please observe the instructions pertaining to physical distancing (2 m) at the reception area and throughout the tour;
  • During the tour, the guide will disinfect door handles, knobs and interpretation panels;
  • The doors of the exhibition room will be kept open to allow for good air circulation;
  • You have to wear a mask inside the exhibition room;
  • Follow the traffic flow pattern guidelines in the exhibition room;
  • Guides will use microphones to conduct the tours;
  • All staff members will wear visors;
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers will be available at various locations throughout your tour.

Animarchéo

  • 2 groups of only 2 different family (residing at the same address) will be accepted at the same time.
  • Visitors will be required to disinfect their hands before participating in the Animarchéo workshop;
  • The guide will have his or her own equipment kit;
  • The guide will disinfect any equipment used as well as surfaces touched at the end of each workshop;
  • Visitors will be directed to the washroom facilities to wash their hands at the end of the workshop;
  • Please maintain a distance of 2 metres between you and the guide at all times;
  • The guide will be equipped with a microphone;
  • All staff members will wear visors.

Ticket office

  • Staff members will serve you through a window and will wear visors;
  • The payment terminal will be disinfected between each transaction;
  • One customer at a time will be allowed inside;
  • One customer per family, with the exception of parents accompanied by their child(ren);
  • Please disinfect your hands upon entering;
  • Follow the traffic flow pattern indicated;
  • Please observe the physical distancing indications (2 m) before entering and once inside the boutique;
  • Please avoid touching items you do not wish to purchase;
  • If you need to try an item on, it will be disinfected or quarantined if it is too fragile to be disinfected;
  • Surfaces will be disinfected regularly;
  • The payment terminal will be disinfected between each transaction;
  • Wearing a mask is compulsory inside.
  • The doors will remain open to limit contact with door handles;
  • Lights will stay on at all times;
  • Only 2 clients will be allowed at a time in each of the bathrooms;
  • 1 toilet and 1 shower will be available for use in each of the bathrooms;
  • Please wait your turn outside while maintaining physical distancing (2 m);
  • A disinfectant dispenser will be available for users, who are required to disinfect their hands before entering either of the bathrooms;
  • Please wash hands thoroughly as recommended by the public health department;
  • Staff will conduct regular cleaning rounds;
  • Guests will not be allowed in the facilities during cleaning rounds;
  • Wearing a mask is compulsory inside.
  • Please respect physical distancing (2 m);
  • Please dispose of tissues and other waste in the appropriate places or bring them back with you.
